Transylvania is famous for its links with Count Dracula, which is proving a big draw for Romanian's fledgling tourism industry. Indeed, Bram Stoker's take on th fable of the Romanian overlord Vlad Tepes today draws coach parties en masse to Bran Castle, the 14th-century fort which is regarded as Dracula's spiritual home.
